What ability is preferred, or what method of discovery needed to learn more of a PC's past other than just their deeds. I ask so I can be prepared with edited parts of my backround if any PC is ever interested.

We typically rely on Garou Lore for this sort of thing, though Tribe Lore may be more appropriate for some deeds (many of Alexander's, I'm sure).
