Once game is off? Feel free to get your party on. I don't believe the hotel has a problem with alcohol outside of rooms or the bar, but try and be discreet.

Good question. Last year, alcohol -- including that which was brought in from outside -- was explicitly allowed on the game site since there were issues with the bar and its liquor license. I would guess that this is not the case this year and that the hotel is hoping for our business.

That said, we actually (as far as I remember them) hold to all of the Mind's Eye Theatre commandments and we feel pretty strongly about keeping alcohol (and intoxication, for that matter) off of our game site. We have no objection to the social drinking, with or without the soft RP (much of which I hope to be seeking out), that inevitably follows our event game sessions.

The evening Vampire game has handled this differently from us in previous years and didn't have a vocal objection to social drinking during game. Without any judgment toward them, I am simply vehement about everyone playing without any chance at impaired judgment from alcohol.

If anyone is interested, I have two new games that I would like to try out after game is off. One is called Are You a Werewolf and the other is called Resistance. They're both very social games and do not require any dice rolling. I figured it could be fun.

Are You a Werewolf? The lycanthropic version of Illuminati, aye? We played something like that (called "War of Rage") once, In-Character, during Wyld Prophets. The test run was pretty successful.

That's the very game of which I speak. My friends and I are working to adapt it to a murder mystery dinner. I'll bring it!
